The Balneary "Arabatskaya Strelka"
that uses natural thermal water from a well. The depth of the
well is 1600 meters. The water temperature is 40-42°С. It is a alkalescent,
iodide-bromine, sodium chloride water. The
Balneary "Arabatskaya Strelka"
has the resolution of the Odessa Institute for balneology as to medicinal
characteristics and use of thermal water for treatment of many diseases, as
well for health-improving of patients for the prophylactic purposes. The
characteristics of mineral water are highly appreciated by the
Moscow Research Institute for balneology and physiotherapy.
The balneary works in the outpatient regime and does not provide with
accommodation and meals. It begins to accept newly arrived from May till
October. You may accommodate in Vacation Hotels and Rest House
that are situated nearby, as well in a private sector.
Before being allowed to take hydropathy you will be examined beforehand by
doctors, and if you do not have any contra-indications, at the patients'
service the balneary offers baths, general medicinal swimming pools, a swimming
pool with underwater vertical traction for treating of backbone and large
joint diseases. Qualified doctors and masseurs work in the balneary ; the latter
know very good the methodology of classical hand massage.
It has been established that bath taking has
anti-inflammatory, anaesthetizing, spasmolytic effect improving the
microcirculation on the capillary level, speeding with that the process
of rehabilitation of damaged tissues; it normalizes the
state of peripheral and vegetative systems. The presence of bromine in
the water gives good results by treatment of vegetovascular distonia,
asthenic and neurosis-like states. Good results are observed by treating
patients with psoriasis.
Course of treatment includes 18 procedures. Everything depends
on the patient's state and the results of water influence on the
organism. Recommended term for repeated course of treatment -- in
3-12 months.
