The Lybid' Hotel was built in 1970 and completely reconstructed in 1998--2002. It is a modern 17-storeyed building. Wonderful views of Kiev -- the Pobedy square and the Shevtshenko boulevard -- open up from the windows, especially from the ones of the upper floors. Close to the hotel there is the Opera House, the Circus, the Botanical Garden, the central street --Kreshatik, as well as the biggest commercial center in Kiev -- the Ukraina department store. In the hotel there are 276 rooms. At the guests' service there is a restaurant, bars, a business center, conference halls up to 110 seats, a parking lot, laundry and dry-cleaner's service, a hairdresser's, a sauna. As well in the evening a night club with a casino, billiard, a disco and a bar offers its service.

The room stock of the hotel is 273 rooms; 30 of them are suites including three-room and four-room luxury suites as well as a floor for non-smokers. All rooms are equipped with an air-conditioner, cable TV, direct international phone line, electronic security system, a mini bar, a hairdryer. Breakfast (smorgasbord) is included in the price of the room.
